The summer seems to be flying by even though we haven't had much summer weather. It's felt like fall all summer, which might be fine for some but I like the 80's at least.

Since my last post Kayleigh returned from a week at camp. It rained all week but they still had a lot of fun. She came home with a little cold though. While she was a way I got her room all cleaned out, shampooed the carpet, and primed the walls. When she got home we went and picked out the paint.

It's not completely done yet and she didn't want me to take pictures of the whole room yet, but here is a picture of her neat circle/polka dot wall.

We still need to get some type of book shelf and this really neat pink lounge chair. Once everything come in I will take pictures of the completed room.

July 4th weekend we celebrated my mother-in-laws 85th birthday. I had some pictures but they were on Kayleigh's camera and she deleted them. Silly kid.....

I have done a little stitching over the summer and I really need to get going on some more! Here are a few of the things I've finished

.
These pictures aren't the best... 4" x 6" Scarecrow Stitchery, $5.95

4"x6" Crow Stitchery, $5.95

Gatherings Towel, $8.50

Live Simply Towel, $8.50

I finally found a really great find at our Salvation Army!!
I got this great coffee grinder for $2.99!!!!
I have a friend that is an antique dealer and he told me to put it in my case at the antique mall for $35.00.
WOO HOO :0)

I thought the little candle holder was nice too, I got that for $1.99. I am keeping that.
I will keep stopping in there and see what I can find. This has been kind of addicting....
LOL!

I hope you all are having a great summer!

That is so cool. We will be moving soon, too, and I would like to do some painting, too. Thanks for sharing this idea to us. :)

Love your daughter's room--the aqua walls are so pretty and the circles are just FUN!! Excellent!

I feel your pain on the weather this summer--it has been a very cold summer so far. We went to a parade on July 16th and everyone had coats on, and some wrapped under blankets! lol
